| | Whisper Mountain Campground is prized by campers from Grafton. All the water falling down from the sky makes Whisper Mountain Campground a wet spot; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
This campground has so many fun things to offer. You can run the rapids of Tygart Valley River right next door to Whisper Mountain Campground, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Grafton here. The splendid folks who manage this site and the pleasant facilities are in themselves reason enough to come here.

A golf course near Whisper Mountain Campground is Tygart Lake Public Golf Course, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not check out Tygart Lake.

Sandy Creek is a good whitewater spot close to Whisper Mountain Campground, and a good site like Valley Falls State Park is too great to leave out. If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a
great earth it would be. Whisper Mountain Campground is close to Tygart Dam which is a picturesque spot definitely worth a visit; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tygart Valley River. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Whisper
Mountain Campground while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Whisper Mountain Campground nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
A journey to Whisper Mountain Campground wouldn’t be complete without a spree to nearby Tygart Lake State Park, and while you're here, you could check out Three Fork Creek.
