  There's such a great deal of things to do at Seneca Shadows including whitewater paddling, fishing, hiking, and swimming, so you won’t get bored. The Little Black Fork Trail offers hiking at its best, and getting to Goddin Run from Seneca Shadows is uncomplicated. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do near Seneca Shadows. Going for a hike along the Yokum Hunter Access Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; you'll in all probability meet some folks from Elkins here.
This campground is so pleasant. Take a hike
    on the McGowan Mountain Trail, and Mill Creek Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. The snow is great at Snowshoe, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Cheat River - Shavers Fork. The glorious local attractions and such a glorious variety of outdoors recreation
are nice reasons to come.
The personnel who's always there to help out and scores of entertaining things to do makes the trip here worthwhile. Why not take a refreshing hike along the South Haddix Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tygart Valley River.
Going camping for a couple of days here in West Virginia is something you ought to do. The warmest time of the year at Seneca Shadows comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes
 
with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Seneca Shadows are in the 10's.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Seneca Shadows a wet spot; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Hiking along the Long Trail is perfect fun, and a trip to Audra State Park rejuvenates the soul. You've got to get out of the house; Seneca Shadows, West Virginia is a great site for getting out.
It's just not possible to run out of entertaining things to do near Seneca Shadows; when you are here for a while you will feel like another person. This is such a pleasant campground. Roaring Creek - Tygart Valley River Tributary is a good whitewater spot in the vicinity of Seneca Shadows, and Monongahela National Forest is a nice location.
Seneca Shadows is often visited by the folks of Elkins.
