The Milleson family has been hosting camping guests since the 1920's! Our 3rd and 4th generations continue to share thie most beautiful bend on the South Branch River watershed with our guests, whether our ''hidden treasure'' area has just been discovered (internet, drive to the end of the road, boat past on the river, or fly over) or your family has been here |
for 4 or 5 generations! Welcome!
The natural beauty of rock cliffs, South Branch of the Potomac River that flows north, natural sand beach with fresh water muscle shells and fossil rocks on it make it a great place to launch a boat, fish, do a float trip, etc. You can sit
| by the river and watch it go past, bird and bald or golden eagle watch, picnic by the day, camp overnight or longer, do a monthly rental, or season lease, and make new friends here!
If exploring our 4 state area of WV, MD, VA, PA is your preference we'll be glad to give you suggestions based on your interests: early American history with forts; Civil War with trenches, museums, Indian Mound Cemetary; Potomac Eagle Train, caves in area, WV and National Parks; Hampshire County Library for family tree work; C & O Canal and Paw Paw tunnel are great places | |

to hike and bike. If music is your joy there are lots of musical events in the area. We live in such a great area and want you to enjoy it while you are here.
You may drop in anytime. Make your reservations for holiday weekends early if you have a favorite site here.
Our
rates are per family unit (family of 5 or so) and our sites are so large (3000 square feet) that 2 families can enjoy camping together on a tent site. Electric sites on the river's edge allow one RV to be backed in and the other RV unit to be pulled in (door to door facing each
other) and share a fire ring and picnic table! The back in sites and pull through sites are for single RVs only. You can be next to friends if you'd like.
We'd love to share this place and area with your family. Come see us soon! Nannette Milleson
