The brilliant selection of local attractions, and the close by outdoors recreation are brilliant causes to come. At Middle Mountain Cabin through the summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Middle Mountain Cabin temperatures plunge to the 10's.

whitewater spots on Cheat River - Shavers Fork, and let's not forget Goddin Run which is a stream that you may stumble upon while here. You have to get out, and Middle Mountain Cabin in West Virginia is exactly the site.
Middle Mountain Cabin is an old favorite with people
| of Elkins. Middle Mountain Cabin is a quite wet place usually with lots of precipitation; through July this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February.
Outdoors folks generally go for this section of West Virginia. Quite a lot of amusing things to do near Middle Mountain Cabin, and it is a tremendous campground. Go for a hike on the Long Trail, as expected you could also stop at Mill Creek Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all.

there are magnificent sites to look at along the McGowan Mountain Trail. This is a good campground. Good hiking is available along the Yokum Hunter Access Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Snowshoe. A campground like this is too good to miss.
Don't leave Middle Mountain Cabin without going to Monongahela National Forest, and nearby you come across the Little Black Fork Trail which is a great hiking trail.
A journey to Middle Mountain Cabin wouldn’t be complete without a spree to nearby Audra State Park, and drift
down the rapids of Roaring Creek - Tygart Valley River Tributary in a kayak. The personnel that operates this campground and the nicely run operations beat anything.
This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Going for a hike on the South Haddix Trail is always a splendid adventure, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Elkins for sure.
