If time allows, Bluestone National Scenic River is a national park worth visiting, and Winterplace is a delightful local ski area. A visit to Twin Falls Resort State Park when you're here at Lake Stephens is never a bad idea, and Big Coal River - Marsh Fork is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. A tremendous place to check out in the neighborhood of Lake Stephens is   Claypool Hollow, and naturally, this is a pleasant area for people who like lakes, Stephens Lake is a lake around here. Some of the water close by flows, like Rockhouse Fork, and in case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandlick Creek. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so it's totally impossible to get bored. Lots of rainfall falls at Lake Stephens; throughout July this area sees the most rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. Loads of people stay at Lake Stephens for the purpose of being near Twin Falls Resort State Park. All the joyful people and the enormously nicely operated facilities are motive enough to come here.
