| | This is such a perfect campground. While you're here at Lake Sherwood, you could also pop by pretty Mill Creek Reservoir, and you can run the rapids of Cheat River - Shavers Fork. Such a nice selection of attractions and the nice variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. Lake Sherwood is a wet place that gets a good deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls during July; the driest month of the year is February.
There's so much to do near Lake Sherwood, and it is a very good campground. Everybody needs to go for a camping trip |

If the weather is great here at Lake Sherwood, you can go for a hike along the Yokum Hunter Access Trail; when you're here it's always fun to stop at Audra State Park. For

This is such a pretty campground. Snowshoe has delightful slopes and a friendly staff, and Lake Sherwood is right by the Little Black Fork Trail. While you're here at Lake Sherwood
you can take a hike along the Long Trail, and there are some good whitewater spots on Roaring Creek - Tygart Valley River Tributary.
Lake Sherwood is a very well esteemed campground by the residents of Elkins.
The welcoming workforce and a fine variety of entertaining stuff
have folks coming from near and far. Among the things you can do near Lake Sherwood are fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so it's totally impossible to get bored. There's whitewater on Tygart Valley River for all you adrenaline people, and hiking along the South Haddix Trail is splendid fun.
