This campground is a pleasant location to have a look at. Take a little trip to House Branch since you're here at Drift-a-bit white water, and Bluestone National Scenic River is a good national park.     cause enough to come here. Drift-a-bit white water is not the only place nearby, Hawk Lake is a nearby lake, and hiking along the Way Back Trail is perfect fun.
Going to Babcock State Park right next door to Drift-a-bit white water is a glorious thing to do, and get covered
with water paddling on New River. Loads of people stay here in order to be in the vicinity of Hawks Nest State Park.
The brilliant selection of local attractions, and all the outdoors recreation are great causes to come. As long as you fancy the outdoors you will fancy West Virginia. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Laurel Creek - New River Tributary; do take a hike on the Carnifex Trail.
Loads of fun is at this campground. The panoramas at Gauley River National Recreation Area will blow your mind; what would winter be without some skiing at
 
Winterplace. So much cool stuff in the neighborhood of Drift-a-bit white water; it really is a glorious campground.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Drift-a-bit white water with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Drift-a-bit white water. The good folks of Fayetteville like to hang out nearby; a tremendous place like Hawks Nest State Park is too wonderful to leave out.
Be careful coming to Drift-a-bit white water, you might not ever wanna go home again. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Mill Creek - New River Tributary; a round of golf at nearby Bridge Haven Golf Club is a good way to kill some time. Anxious to pitch that tent; Drift-a-bit white water is a glorious local campground if you happen to be in West Virginia.
