Drift-a-bit white water; a trip to Bluestone National Scenic River is worthwhile. The high level of rain makes Drift-a-bit white water a reasonably wet spot; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. There's
no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Winterplace, and you'll most likely meet some folks from Fayetteville here. Drift-a-bit white water is very well loved by the people from Fayetteville. This campground is a pretty location to stop at. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend New River, and Gauley River National Recreation Area is a pleasant national park.
