If the weather is fine here at Blue Meadow, you can go for a hike along the Long Trail; if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tygart Valley River. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; Blue Meadow has it all. The Yokum Hunter Access Trail is a pleasant hiking trail in close proximity to Blue Meadow, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Cheat River - Shavers Fork. Little Black Fork Trail is delightful fun; Goddin Run is in the vicinity of Blue Meadow and is always a delight to stop at. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the cool stuff you can do is hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. This campground
is so pretty. A trip to Audra State Park when you're here at Blue Meadow is never a bad idea. While you're here at Blue Meadow you can take a hike along the McGowan Mountain Trail; a magnificent site for whitewater paddling is Roaring Creek - Tygart Valley River Tributary.
Blue Meadow is a campground loved by people from Elkins. Going for a hike along the South Haddix Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; you'll meet a lot of people from Elkins here.
