Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Roaring Creek - Tygart Valley River Tributary, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Little Black Fork Trail. Feeling down from spending too much time indoors, No problem at all; Blue Meadow in West Virginia is such a glorious location.

there are plenty of people from Elkins, and Monongahela National Forest is a magnificent site to go. The high level of rainfall makes Blue Meadow a quite wet place; most of the rain falls through July, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
Get your pulse rate up on the
| brilliant whitewater of Tygart Valley River, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the McGowan Mountain Trail. This is truly a good campground. There is a good hiking trail in close proximity to Blue Meadow called the Long Trail, and why not check out nearby Goddin Run while you're here at Blue Meadow. Quite a lot of cool stuff to do close to Blue Meadow, and you always have a glorious time when you're here.

down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Blue Meadow.
Blue Meadow is a very popular old favorite campground among residents of Elkins. A day on the slopes of Snowshoe is just what you need; don't leave without
popping by Audra State Park.
The surroundings of this campground have so many things to offer. Not far from Blue Meadow, you'll hit upon Mill Creek Reservoir which is a pretty lake, and nearby you stumble on the Yokum Hunter Access Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
The obliging operators of the campground and the great facilities have folks coming here.
There's so much to do at Blue Meadow including fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. It's totally impossible to get bored in West Virginia if you fancy the outdoors.
