| | If you're here at Blue Meadow, you could visit Goddin Run; lots of people from Elkins come here. The caring atmosphere and the delightful abundance of fun activities are a wonderful attraction for a lot of people. High temperatures at Blue Meadow during the summertime months are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Blue Meadow. So much entertaining stuff close to Blue Meadow, and when you have spent some time here you will feel like a different person. |

Just can't get enough of Blue Meadow. A trip to Monongahela National Forest when you're here at Blue Meadow is never a bad idea, and going for a hike along the McGowan Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Blue Meadow sees pretty high levels
| of rain; most of the rain falls through July, and the driest of the months is February. This campground is a brilliant location to stop at. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Cheat River - Shavers Fork. The wonderful variety of local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. Blue Meadow is a popular spot with the folks from Elkins. A fine location for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Blue Meadow is Roaring Creek - Tygart Valley River Tributary, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Long Trail. | |

Among the things you can do near Blue Meadow are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stick around for a while. This sector of West Virginia is always a diversion to explore during camping season. Snowshoe has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and if
the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Yokum Hunter Access Trail. Loads of fun is at this campground. Audra State Park is a delightful place to have a look at on a lovely day; do take a hike on the Little Black Fork Trail. In the event that you don't mind getting
soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tygart Valley River, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the South Haddix Trail. You can't spend too much time indoors; you've gotta get out once in a while, and Blue Meadow in West Virginia is a great spot to go.
