Whitewater rafting and kayaking can turn perilous, so check restrictions in advance of a trip. Do go to Mount Storm Lake in the neighborhood of Big Bend - Monongahela National Forest, it's a charming lake; going for a hike along the Loop Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. For all you bowlers, Golden Lanes is a good bowling alley right next door to Big Bend - Monongahela National Forest. If the weather is pleasant here at Big Bend - Monongahela  
National Forest, you can go for a hike along the Redman Trail. A tremendous site like Blackwater Falls State Park near Big Bend - Monongahela National Forest is too pleasant to leave out, and going for a horse ride at close by Yokum's Riding Stables is always a fun thing to do.
