Summer brings highs in the 80's to Back Country Campgrounds. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Back Country Campgrounds dip into the 10's.

Back Country Campgrounds gets a common amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. Alexanders Run is a scenic stream that is worth stopping at, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Vondergreen Trail.
