| | Yakima River RV Park is situated on a working ranch on the Yakima River, just a few miles south of the historic town of Ellensburg, and approximately 100 miles East of Seattle, Washington.. We offer a quiet Park in the country surrounded by numerous outdoor activities such as fly-fishing, hiking, river rafting, bicycling, nature trail walking, livestock and wildlife viewing, rock hounding, geocaching, swimming, golfing, horseback riding and sight-seeing day trips.
Thirty-six of the RV sites are easy pull-thus and several will accommodate a motor |
coach. Horse stalls are available for those traveling with horses. River floaters needing shuttles can make arrangements for that service through Yakima River RV Park.

DIRECTIONS:
From I-90, take Exit 109, then head South on Canyon Road for 2 miles. Turn
right on Ringer Loop.
From I-82, take the Thrall Exit 3. Turn right on Thrall Road, turn right on Canyon Road, turn left on Ringer Loop.
Traveling North on 821 through the scenic Yakima Canyon, turn left on Ringer Loop.
Tjossem Pond Dam is an exciting
thing to check out, and at Yakima River R V Park you always meet someone from Ellensburg. This campground has so incredibly much. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Yakima River; you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Devils Gulch Trail. A round of golf at nearby
Reecer Creek Golf & Country Club is a great way to kill some time, and hiking along the Teanaway Wilson Stock Trail is magnificent fun. A spree to Yakima River R V Park wouldn’t be complete without a trip to close by Olmstead Place State Park, and whitewater paddling is not for
everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Naches River. Lots of fun is at this campground. Looking for some flowing water? Try Wilson Creek, and why not head up to Mission Ridge and strap some skis to your feet. Yakima River R V Park is a location that is relatively
arid usually; the wettest month of the year is regularly December, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest of the months is July. If you come at the right time of year, Tieton River offers some wonderful whitewater; Yakima River R V Park is right by the High Creek Trail.
Through the days of summer highs here at Yakima River R V Park reach the 80's with night lows in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Yakima River R V Park overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. And if that's not enough,
there's plenty more to do near Yakima River R V Park. A perfect location like Yakima Sportsman State Park close to Yakima River R V Park is too great to leave out, and Benwy Canyon is certainly a nice site to have a look at.

AMENITIES
Tent camping is available - Yakima River RV Park has an additional overflow area separate from the RV Park where large groups of tenters sometimes gather for special weekends away from city life! This camping area is treed giving good shade. A porta-potty is available, as well as good water, but showers are not provided. Those who really can't live without a shower can go to the truck stop and shower for a fee. RV hookups are available - We have 40 sites, 36 of those with power and water, 16 of those include septic as well, 4 dry sites. Pets are allowed - Pets are allowed, by permission depending on the breed of dog. Rabies certificates should be carried with you. Rules must be closely followed concerning pet walking and plastic bag pick-ups, as well as leashes and no disturbances. No fires - The fire marshall in Kittitas County only approves Propane fires which are operated by an instant on/off switch. No Store Grocery store nearby - Ellensburg has four major grocery stores in town, including Super One, Safeway, Albertsons and Fred Meyers within four or five miles. Yakima is 30 miles south with several major shopping stores. Pool - There is a city pool and the CWU pool. Carey Lakes are a five minute drive from Yakima River RV Park with a roped off children’s area which is cool and refreshing! Game Room - Opening soon in the barn, is a rustic Club House for group gatherings to have their potluck dinners and meetings!
RATES: Yakima River RV Park rates range from $20 to $37 a night depending on the services. We have weekly rates as well. We offer Passport America discounts.
