All the glorious local attractions around here and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. Good hiking is available along the Cascade Crest Trail, and Cooper Spur has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. That right there is a heap of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Central Cascade Range has it all. Near Wind Mountain Resort you hit upon the Wyeth Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and a good site for whitewater paddling |

great spots to camp here in the Central Cascade Range. This campground is so fine. New Lake is a brilliant lake close to Wind Mountain Resort, and there's whitewater on Wind River for all you adrenaline people. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Wind Mountain Resort. Summer
nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are mostly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Wind Mountain Resort. If you want a brilliant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Wind Mountain Resort. Gorton Creek is a lovely
stream that is worth visiting, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Pacific Crest Trail - section 23. At Wind Mountain Resort you can distinguish Buck Mountain.
