Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Jackman River, and the peak of Sauk Mountain can be seen from Wilderness Village. Wilderness Village is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; throughout November this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. This is a perfect campground. The Finney Peak Trail offers hiking at its best; there are plenty of people from Rockport here. |
