Scores of folks     stay at this campground when going to Rockport State Park. Famous Washington kindness and the splendor of the place are reason enough to come here. Wilderness Village is a campground that is enormously esteemed by the folks of Rockport. There's some flowing water nearby, Sauk River is a stream you can take a look at while you're here, and get soaked paddling on Stillaguamish River - North Fork. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go home again. The vista of Sauk Mountain from Wilderness Village is delightful, and a visit to Rockport State Park rejuvenates the soul. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Wilderness Village, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Wilderness   Village. Wilderness Village is located in the Northern Cascade Range. The glorious local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. That right there is heaps of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. During your visit to Wilderness Village you'll meet some folks from Rockport for sure; Wallace Falls State Park is a brilliant place to go. Get your sleeping bag packed and hit the road; Wilderness Village in Washington is a good selection. This place, Wilderness Village, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff. You'll discover a stunning lake called Sauk Lake near Wilderness Village, and close by you hit upon the Gee Point Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Sauk River, and why not head up to Mt.Baker and strap some skis to your feet. Wilderness Village is a wet location that gets much precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. A campground like this is too magnificent to miss.
