Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Pilchuck Creek, and Lake Chelan National Recreation Area is a very great location to take a look at. A visit to Washington is not complete without some camping. Lots of people choose this campground for the purpose of being near Saddlebag Island State Park. A gorgeous lake like Whistle Lake close to Thousand Trails is a magnificent location to take a look at; lots of folks from La Conner come here. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Thousand Trails. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 30's for Thousand Trails.
