There's a total of 8 great ski lifts at close by ski hill Mt.Baker. Mt.Baker has 54 feet of beautiful snow yearly, has a drop from top to bottom of 1,500 feet, and 38 trails. 31% of the 1,000 acres of ski terrain at Mt.Baker consist of advanced and expert trails. But there are glorious trails for little ones and beginners as well; 69% of the trails are intermediate or beginner. A grade V, 4-mile-long whitewater section can be found on close by Nooksack River - North Fork, the Mt. Baker Wilderness to Nooksack Falls section. Don't go kayak
 
paddling on this section of Nooksack River - North Fork unless you believe your kayak paddling abilities are very pleasant.
