A lake nearby is Swofford Pond; dropping by Seaquest State Park is a good thing to do. A good deal of rainfall falls at Riffe Lake Campground; throughout December this area sees the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. the outdoors recreation will definitely have you coming back persistently. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Swofford Valley is close to Riffe Lake Campground and is a great location, and at Swofford Valley
Rearing Pond Dam close to Riffe Lake Campground there are some out of the ordinary things to see. A number of folks stay at this campground to stop by nearby Ike Kinswa State Park.
