This section of Jefferson Creek is a tough section for whitewater boating.   Kayak paddling could become hazardous, so check circumstances in advance of a trip. Mount Jupiter Trail in the neighborhood has a difference in height of 3,830 feet. This trail is 12 miles of picturesque backcountry backpacking in nature. Mount Jupiter Trail is a demanding two days of backcountry backpacking.
