All the merry folks and all the entertaining things to do have people coming from near and far. Places like Sequim Bay State Park are nice to take a look at; there's whitewater on Dungeness River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Take a side trip to Siebert Creek, and there are some great whitewater spots on Gray Wolf River. At Port Angeles KOA Kampground you don’t see much rain; during December this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of   the year is July. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Olympic Mountains. Go for a hike on the Little River Trail, and Winters Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit. High temperatures at Port Angeles KOA Kampground during the summertime are in the 60's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 40's while Port Angeles KOA Kampground overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. Olympic National Park is a pleasant location in the vicinity of Port Angeles KOA Kampground, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Baldy Trail. Lots of folks stay at this campground to be near Olympic National Park.
