| | It's totally impossible to run out of entertaining stuff to do next to Peterson Prairie Group Camp; it is a very good campground. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Peterson Prairie Group Camp with overnight lows in the 40's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 40's while Peterson Prairie Group Camp night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. Peterson Prairie Group Camp is an old favorite with the people from Randle. Washington is a good spot for outdoors folks. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Northern |
Cascade Range. Stud Log Pond Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Big Creek Trail. We all need to go for a camping trip occasionally; Peterson Prairie Group Camp in Washington is a really good spot to spend some time. At
| Peterson Prairie Group Camp you always meet someone from Randle, and a pretty lake like Gibbs Lake is a nice place to check out. Peterson Prairie Group Camp is a great camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Northern Cascade Range. Lots of people stay here when they come to take a look at Mount Rainier National Park. Camp, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Purcell Mountain Trail. If you come to this campground, you will have a glorious time for sure. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Cispus River, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Silver
Creek Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Silver Creek offers some delightful whitewater, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Pompey Peak Trail. Peterson Prairie Group Camp is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a lot of precipitation; most of the
rain falls during December; the driest month of the year is July. For you golfers we recommend close by Maple Grove RV Resort & Golf Course. This campground has everything. Going for a hike on the Davis Mountain Trail is always a splendid adventure, and there's whitewater on Yellowjacket
Creek for all you adrenaline people. The good local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back repeatedly. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is abundant here in the Northern Cascade Range. Visiting Mount Rainier National Park is just something
you need to do if you haven't yet, and Gifford Pinchot National Forest is a fine site to take a look at. There's a lot of outdoors recreation available close at hand such as hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, and playing golf, so running out of cool stuff to do won’t happen.
