Parkland Motel and RV Park is generally a quite dehydrated place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest month of the year is July. Riverside State Park is a tremendous place to stretch your legs a bit, and if you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Sun Dance Golf Course. This is such a wonderful campground. There's whitewater on Hangman Creek for all you adrenaline people, and Esmeralda Golf Course is a golf course close by.
