Golf can be played at Scott Lake Golf Course. This sector of Washington is always a diversion to explore throughout camping season. There's whitewater on Nisqually River for all you thrill seekers, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Olympia. Olympia Campgrounds sees pretty high levels of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is such   a beautiful campground. Tolmie State Park is a splendid place to go to; if you come at the right time of year, Cedar Creek offers some good whitewater. Be careful coming to the Olympic Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. There are some great whitewater spots on Deschutes River, of course you could also stop at Trosper Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Olympia Campgrounds is fantastically popular with folks of Olympia. The kind people working here and the fine facilities are rather incredible. Playing golf is lots of fun at Tumwater Valley Municipal Golf Course, and places like Millersylvania State Park are nice to visit. Summertime highs at Olympia Campgrounds regularly tend to be in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Olympia Campgrounds.
