Moss Creek - Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Northern Cascade Range, Washington Custom Search   This camp ground is positioned in the pretty Northern Cascade Range. Through the summertime months at Moss Creek highs are generally in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Moss Creek. Any time is a glorious time at Moss Creek if you fancy the outdoors. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Silver Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Davis Mountain Trail. This campground is so good. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Moss Creek; Pompey Peak Trail is a great local trail; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yellowjacket Creek.
