If you're popping by Kachess from Chelan, you won't be the only one; drift down the rapids of Methow River in a kayak. Cagle Gulch is a fine spot to take a look at in close proximity to Kachess, and Chelan Dam is a gorgeous location. Famous Washington generosity and loads of cool stuff to do are in themselves incentive enough to come here. During the summertime at Kachess highs are usually in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop   down into the 50's.
