Kachess - Wenatchee National Forest, Washington

| | Many folks stay at this campground during their tour to Minneapolis Beach. A spree to nearby Spaders Bay is very relaxing, and if you come at the right time of year, Methow River offers some good whitewater. Kachess gets very little rainfall; most of the snow falls through December, and the driest month is July.
Get your sleeping bag packed and head out on the road; Kachess is a nice local campground if you happen to be in Washington. Man, is there plenty of exciting stuff to do near Kachess. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Chelan River, and Minneapolis |
Beach is quite close by if you're in a beach type of mood.
This campground is a gorgeous location to explore. You might want to pay a visit to Cagle Gulch while you're here at Kachess; the slopes of Echo Valley are so inviting nobody can resist. A tour to Kachess wouldn’t be
| complete without a tour to close by Alta Lake State Park, and Chelan Dam is beautiful. So many cool things right next door to Kachess, and you always have a nice time when you're here.
There's more to do right next door to Kachess other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, playing golf, swimming, and fishing, so possibly you want to stay for a while. Washington has such a great deal of things to offer nature lovers. Kachess is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks from Chelan.

and all the outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back many times. A nice location like Lake Chelan State Park close to Kachess is too delightful to leave out; Chelan Butte is clearly visible from Kachess. Here at Kachess there are plenty of folks from Chelan, and
golf can be played at Lake Chelan Municipal Golf Course.
The pleasant people working here and all the cool things to do are incentive enough to come here. At this campground you will always have a great time.
Summertime highs at Kachess typically tend to be in the 80's,
and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Kachess are in the 20's.
