Wow what a great w/e. Haven't been to Jack's Resort on Jameson Lake in years, but will make it at least twice a year from here on. The new owner and apparently a crew of regulares have fixed the place up to a quality resort. Super friendly folks, good service and great food. Oh, and the fishin wasn't bad either. Would have been better but Fish And Wildlife decided to plant a bazzzzzillon fry and the big guys I was after were on the bottom burping.

are so inviting noone can resist, and if you come at the right time of year, Chelan River offers some magnificent whitewater. Jack's Resort is not far at all from Mansfield. This campground is always a diversion. A visit to Bridgeport State Park when you're here at Jack's Resort
| is never a bad idea, and Sulphur Canyon is around here, and is a great spot. All through the warm months here at Jack's Resort, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Jack's Resort overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's.
Around Jack's Resort you don’t get a lot of rain; during December this area sees the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. A spree to Lake Lenore Caves State Park when you're here at Jack's Resort is a glorious idea; Jameson Lake is a glorious lake nearby. | |
