  The people who take care of the campground and the extremely skillfully controlled facilities are a nice pull for scores of people. It's completely out of the question to get bored in Washington if you love the outdoors.
This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Matthews Beach is right next door to Gold Basin and is a beautiful beach to go to; you can run the rapids of Duwamish River. Some people stay here for the purpose of being near Saint Edwards State Park.
This is a splendid campground. Saint Edwards State Park is
    a great spot to go if you're at Gold Basin, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Hall Lake. Don't leave Gold Basin without dropping by Mukilteo State Park; at Ballinger Lake Outlet Dam near Gold Basin there are some out of the ordinary
things to see.
Pilchuck Creek is a glorious whitewater spot right next door to Gold Basin, and naturally Hall Creek flows through this vicinity. Some of the things you can do here at Gold Basin are whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so there's absolutely no way to get bored.
You've been indoors for too much time, and Gold Basin in Washington is the outdoors at its greatest. Gold Basin is exceptionally well loved by the people from Mountlake Terrace. You must definitely visit pretty Sunset Beach since you're here at Gold Basin, and the
 
fine folks of Mountlake Terrace like to hang out nearby.
Summertime highs at Gold Basin frequently tend to be in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Gold Basin are in the 30's. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cedar River. All the nice local attractions nearby and all the outdoors recreation are tremendous reasons to come.
From a precipitation point of view Gold Basin is a relatively typical spot; the month with most of the rain is December, and the driest month is July.
