The staff who's always there to lend a hand and lots of enjoyable stuff to do have people coming from near and far. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Gold Basin while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. Outlet Dam is gorgeous and it's close to Gold Basin, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pilchuck Creek. Cedar River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. There is so much amusing stuff to do near Gold Basin; spending
time at this campground is incredibly enjoyable. A lot of folks select this campground for the purpose of being right next door to Saint Edwards State Park. Nothing beats kicking back at Sunset Beach, and there are plenty of folks from Mountlake Terrace here at Gold Basin.
