Why not take a refreshing hike along the Laws Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Sherman Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. Around Fisherman's Cove Resort you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and October meanwhile is the driest   month. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Fisherman's Cove Resort reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Fisherman's Cove Resort are in the 10's. A splendid place like Curlew Lake State Park right next door to Fisherman's Cove Resort is too good to leave out; do schedule some time to stop at Fishermans Cove if you have a chance. Going for a hike along the Bodie Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and going to Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
