Excelsior - Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forests, Washington

  A day at Sunset Beach in the vicinity of Excelsior is time well spent. A normal amount of rain falls here at Excelsior; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Many folks camp here when going to Saint Edwards State Park.
Saint Edwards State Park is worth going to if you're at Excelsior, and you can run the rapids of Pilchuck Creek. The nice choice of local attractions, and all the outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back over and over.
Loads of fun is at this campground. Don't
    leave Excelsior without going to Mukilteo State Park, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Cedar River. Excelsior is often visited by folks from Mountlake Terrace. Excelsior beyond doubt is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. At Excelsior you always meet someone
from Mountlake Terrace; a lake nearby is Lake Serene.
It's completely out of the question to get bored in Washington if you fancy the outdoors. All the joyful folks and all the pleasant passtime activities attract people from all over.
All through the summer highs here at Excelsior reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 40's with temperatures at Excelsior dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Getting to Hall Creek from Excelsior is simple; there's whitewater on
 
Duwamish River for all you adrenaline junkies.
Beaches are great; and Matthews Beach near Excelsior is no exception, and tremendous water scenery is available at Ballinger Lake Outlet Dam close to Excelsior. There are so many cool things near Excelsior, and spending time at this campground is incredibly enjoyable. Some activities here at Excelsior are fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so almost certainly you want to stay a bit.
