So much entertaining stuff right next door to Douglas Fir, and it's one of those places where everything is tremendous. Several people stay here for the purpose of being next to Saint Edwards State Park. Outdoors folks generally like this part of Washington. When was the last time you went for a weekend of camping? Fir is a good spot of common rain; the month with most of the rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime highs at Douglas Fir commonly tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down
| to the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Douglas Fir. Hall Creek is a picturesque stream that is worth going to; Matthews Beach is rather nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. This is such a gorgeous campground. Saint Edwards State Park is a glorious site to have a look at, and needless to say, this is a pleasant vicinity for folks who like lakes, Hall Lake is a lake close at hand. a lazy day on the beach at Sunset Beach. Float down the rapids of Cedar River in a kayak. There's so much to do at Douglas Fir including swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. The staff who's always there to be
of assistance and the pleasant quality of everything here are in themselves incentive enough to come here. Whitewater paddling is great on Duwamish River, and a spree to Mukilteo State Park revitalizes the soul.
