| | Washington has lots of outdoors activities. Coal Creek is a campground reasonably frequently visited by folks of Mountlake Terrace. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Coal Creek. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Cedar River; a day at gorgeous Sunset Beach close to Coal Creek is a splendid thing to do. If you come at the right time of year, Pilchuck Creek offers some good whitewater, and you can spend the day on the beach at Matthews Beach. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the exciting |
stuff you can do is fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so probably you want to stick around. For the duration of the summer at Coal Creek highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and
| after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Coal Creek dip into the 30's. Feeling down from spending too much time inside, No problem at all; Coal Creek in Washington is the outdoors at its finest. You'll meet a lot of folks from Mountlake Terrace here, and don't leave without visiting Mukilteo State Park. There's some interesting stuff to make out at Ballinger Lake Outlet Dam in the vicinity of Coal Creek. this is a delightful pick. Loads of fun is at this campground. Don't forget to take a great little tour to Hall Creek; not far from Coal Creek you'll stumble on Lake Serene which is a picturesque lake. The tremendous pick of local attractions, and such a tremendous variety of
outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back repeatedly. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Duwamish River; Saint Edwards State Park is worth taking a look at. The caring operators of the campground and the delightful quality of everything here makes the journey here
worthwhile. Coal Creek gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
