Sullivan River. A tour to Black Lake Resort wouldn’t be complete without a journey to nearby Crystal Falls State Park, and delightful scenery and perfect skiing is what you obtain at 49 Degrees North. At Black Lake Resort you don’t see much rainfall; during December this area sees
| the most snow, and the driest of the months is September. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Black Lake Resort, and the nighttime is somewhat chillier of course, usually in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Black Lake Resort are in the 10's. Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is a brilliant national park, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Sheep Creek. This campground is always a bliss. There are other locations here than Black Lake Resort, for example Black Lake, and the Terry Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby.
