Big Creek - Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Northern Cascade Range, Washington   Big Creek is to be found in the Northern Cascade Range. Some of the water nearby flows, like Surrey Creek, and paddling on Yellowjacket Creek is so much fun. There's more to do next to Big Creek other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, fishing, and     playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. All through the days of summer here at Big Creek, high temperatures generally reach the 70's with night lows in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Big Creek temperatures descend to the 30's. As long as you love the outdoors you will love Washington. There is so much cool stuff near Big Creek, and it's always fun to be at this campground. Just can't get enough of Big Creek. Big Creek is near Gifford Pinchot National Forest which is a wonderful place, and you're perhaps keen on lakes, Gibbs Lake is one of those close by. The helpful operators of the campground and the huge amount of enjoyable stuff to do makes the spree here worthwhile. Be careful coming to the Northern Cascade Range, you   might not ever wanna return home again. While you're here at Big Creek you can take a hike along the Big Creek Trail, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Silver Creek. Many people pick Big Creek for the purpose of being near Mount Rainier National Park. All the wonderful local attractions in the vicinity and all the outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back again and again. The Davis Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail close to Big Creek; whitewater paddling is good on Cispus River. That right there is a lot of fun things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. Stud Log Pond Dam is stunning and it's right next door to Big Creek, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Pompey Peak Trail. Lots of fun is at this campground. Near Big Creek you come across a golf course called Maple Grove RV Resort & Golf Course; Mount Rainier National Park is a great place close by. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Silver Creek Trail. Big Creek commonly gets a large amount of rainfall; December is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July.
