| | Camping in Washington is such an enjoyable activity. There's so much stuff to do close to Basecamp, and it is a great escape from everyday life. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back time and again.
Nearby lakes? Sure, Martha Lake is near Basecamp, and Potholes State Park is worth going to. For the period of the summer months highs here at Basecamp get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and after |
the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Basecamp dip into the 10's. This campground is so scenic. Here at Basecamp there are plenty of people from Quincy, and golf can be played at Quincy Golf Club.
There's a heap of outdoors recreation available around here such
| as fishing, swimming, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so it's just not possible to get bored.
There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Sand Hollow Creek, and needless to say, everybody loves Lake Lenore Caves State Park.
The personnel of this great campground and the fine quality of everything here have loads of people coming here. Camping out definitely is a fun thing to do, and Basecamp is a great local campground if you happen to be in Washington.
Basecamp is a very well prized campground by people in Quincy. Basecamp is pretty dried up typically; December is when you get the most snow here; July meanwhile is the driest month. | |
