I loved this place. My grandparents built it in 1960. Tarr's Resort. Too bad the government forced the lease to close and then took over the profits themselves. Says Karen Whelan

Swift Creek Campground, formerly known as Baker Lake Resort, is a very popular campground. There are no cabins on offer any more. 50 camp sites now now availble for tents campers and RVers. The amenities here include picnic tables, grills, boat ramp and vault toilet. Drinking

water and RV tank fill-up is also availble.

This is by far one of the best places I have ever camped. The resort is quiet and well kept. The camp hosts as well as the staff there have made each and every camping trip a great
adventure. The fishing is great as well as the beauty of the lake.I highly recommend coming here with your family!!This summer will be our 5th year...and many more years to come..make your reservations early for great sites!!!ENJOY!!! Says Annie Adams and family
