Atkisson - Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Northern Cascade Range, Washington   A lot of people camp here to be close to Mount Rainier National Park. Don't leave Atkisson without going to Gifford Pinchot National Forest. All through the long summer days here at Atkisson, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. Mount Rainier National Park is rather next to Atkisson, and if you get bored of Atkisson you could also stop at nearby Gibbs Lake. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Good hiking is available along the Big Creek Trail, and an afternoon playing golf at Maple Grove RV Resort & Golf Course is always a joy. There's glorious hiking along the Pompey Peak Trail; you can run the rapids of Silver Creek. Atkisson is liked by the people of Randle. There are so many enjoyable things to do right next door to Atkisson; it is a very perfect campground. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in the neighborhood of Atkisson. Surrey Creek is near Atkisson and is always a delight to stop by, and Cispus River is a fine whitewater spot close by. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always scenic. Famous Washington welcome and all the wonderful passtime activities will make you feel pleasant.
