  The great local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at American Heritage Campgrounds. Not far from American Heritage Campgrounds, you'll discover Trosper Lake which is a striking lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Cedar Creek. As if American Heritage Campgrounds wasn't sufficient, you can also go whitewater paddling, playing golf, fishing, and swimming, so there's absolutely no way to get bored.

All through the warm days of summer here at American Heritage Campgrounds, high temperatures typically reach the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at American Heritage Campgrounds.
A quick spree to Allen Creek near American Heritage Campgrounds is a brilliant idea, and get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Deschutes River. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Olympic Mountains. Playing golf is lots of fun at Tumwater Valley Municipal Golf Course. There is so much enjoyable stuff to do close to American Heritage Campgrounds, and it is a fun spot for young and old.
The Olympic Mountains scenery is always stunning.
