And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do right next door to Virginia Power. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Back Creek - Jackson Tributary,
and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Katydid Trail. Summertime highs at Virginia Power generally tend to be in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Virginia Power.
