| a fine little tour to Moccasin Branch, and the Yellow Branch Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby.
This is in fact a glorious campground. If you're here, you might as well pop by Alum Hollow, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Reed Island Creek. A number of people stay at this campground for the purpose of being next to Claytor Lake State Park.
