This campground has so many fun things to offer. Going for a hike on the Scothorn Gap Trail is always a fine adventure; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Story Book Trail. The workforce that runs this campground and the ably run operations are reason enough to come here.

Rancho Campgrounds is in close proximity to Lost River State Park which is a striking location, and Rancho Campgrounds is not far at all from New Market. Rancho Campgrounds gets a normal amount of rain; most of the rain falls all through May, and January is the month with the least moisture. When you're here at Rancho Campgrounds it's always fun to pop by Shenandoah River Andy Guest State Park, and great hiking is available along the Duncan Hollow Trail.
During the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Rancho Campgrounds. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Rancho Campgrounds. The slopes of Bryce Resort are so inviting nobody can resist, and don't leave Rancho Campgrounds without first going for a hike along the Gap Creek Trail.
