| by called the Cliff Branch Trail. Not far from New River Trail State Park, you'll discover Buck Reservoir which is a striking lake, and you can go for a hike on the Mountain Trail. This campground has so many exciting things to offer. Whitewater paddling is good on Reed Creek, and there are nice places to explore along the Miles Gap Trail. so much fun. New River Trail State Park is a very popular old favorite campground among residents of Austinville. New River Trail State Park gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and November meanwhile is the driest month. While visiting
this region in Virginia it's a great idea to go camping too. Some activities here at New River Trail State Park are whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. It's completely out of the question to run out
of enjoyable stuff to do close to New River Trail State Park; it is a great campground. Claytor Lake State Park is a tremendous spot to stretch your legs a bit, and going for a hike on the Bournes Branch Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Summertime highs at New River Trail
State Park usually tend to be in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for New River Trail State Park.
