Having a magnificent time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is painless. Hiking along the Miles Gap Trail is splendid fun, and Stone Mountain State Park is a great site to pop by. Paddling on Reed Creek is so much fun, and don't forget to take a good little   tour to Porter Branch. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on New River; going for a hike along the Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. The pleasant workforce and all the entertaining stuff to do attract folks from all over. Such a tremendous pick of attractions and so much to do will make you happy you came. This camp ground is to be found in the delightful Blue Ridge Mountains. During the days of summer highs here at New River Trail State Park get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 40's, and night lows at New River Trail State Park during the winter typically descend into the 10's.
