a hike along the Poverty Creek Horse Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Stony Creek.
This is such a scenic campground. There is a fine hiking trail close to New River Junction Campground called the
Alleheny Trail. New River Junction Campground is a very popular campground with folks of Eggleston.
The staff that runs this campground and all the enjoyable things attract people from far and wide. New River is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of New River Junction Campground, and Castle Rock Golf Course is a great golf course close by.
