- South Fork is so much fun, and people from Batesville love to come here. It's a wonderful idea to pop by Stony Run, it's near Misty Mountain Camp Resort. Going for a hike on the Sawmill Ridge Trail is always a great adventure, and perfect skiing awaits you at Wintergreen. This
| campground has so much. At Misty Mountain Camp Resort you can observe Yellow Mountain; don't leave Misty Mountain Camp Resort without first going for a hike along the Wildcat Ridge Trail.
South River has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by; you can go for a hike on the Turk Mountain Trail. A lot of fun is at this campground. A pretty lake like Whites Pond near Misty Mountain Camp Resort is a great place to go to, and a spree to Holliday Lake State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
