Long's Campground, Blue Ridge Mountains, Virginia   Long's Campground is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is a delightful campground. Long's Campground is right by the Viewing Rock Trail; you can hit the slopes at Wintergreen in the neighborhood. There's great hiking along the Little Peak Trail. This place, Long's Campground, it just has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Paddling on Maury River is so much fun; you're sure to come across some fine people from Rockbridge Baths here. A visit to Virginia is not complete without some camping. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Maury River,     and of course Alone Mill Creek flows through this area. There's more to do in close proximity to Long's Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. The workforce of this great campground and all the cool things are reason enough to come here. Long's Campground usually gets a good deal of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is December. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Round Knob Trail; what would a place like Long's Campground be without attention-grabbing nearby highlights like Lovers Leap. A campground like this is too delightful to miss. Don't leave Long's Campground without first going for a hike along   the Jump Rock Trail; no need to travel far to take a look at out of the ordinary stuff like Horseshoe Bend. Long's Campground is prized by residents of Rockbridge Baths. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is bountiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Goshen Pass Trail offers hiking at its best; Douthat State Park is a splendid location to stretch your legs a bit. You've been indoors for too long, and Long's Campground is a great local campground if you happen to be in Virginia. The fine local attractions and such a fine variety of outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back many times. High temperatures at Long's Campground through the days of summer are in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Long's Campground are in the 10's. The view of Poorhouse Mountain from Long's Campground is pretty, and float down the rapids of Marl Creek in a kayak.
