  High temperatures at Lake Shore Campgrounds during the days of summer are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Shore Campgrounds temperatures sink to the 20's.
All the positive folks and the perfectly kept up facilities are quite phenomenal. Going for a hike along the Wyatt Fire Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; while you're here, you could explore Spring Creek.
A spree to Sycamore Shoals State Park when you're here
    at Lake Shore Campgrounds is a magnificent idea, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Flatwood Trail. There's absolutely no way to get bored in Virginia if you have a thing about the outdoors.
This is a pleasant campground. You can observe Taylor Knob from Lake
Shore Campgrounds, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Laurel Creek. Lake Shore Campgrounds sees pretty high levels of rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain while October is regularly the driest month. And if that's not sufficient, there's lots more to do in close proximity to Lake Shore Campgrounds. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Holston River - South Fork, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Bear Wallow Trail.

from Abingdon; if you come at the right time of year, Holston River offers some pleasant whitewater. There's a heap of outdoors recreation available in close proximity such as fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. There are other places here than Lake Shore Campgrounds, for example Camp Tom Howard Lake, and a journey to Roan Mountain State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. If the weather is great here at Lake Shore Campgrounds, you can go for a hike along the Wyatt Fire Trail, and Ski Beech has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. Get your camping stuff packed and get your wheels rolling; Lake Shore Campgrounds in Virginia is just the spot.
