    many things to do in the vicinity of Lake Fairfax Park, and when you are here for a while you will feel like another person.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. The The Crossing Trail is a perfect hiking trail in the neighborhood of Lake Fairfax Park, and not far
from Lake Fairfax Park you'll hit upon Huntsman Lake which is a charming lake. The great variety of local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will positively have you coming back many times. If you adore the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's playing golf, fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so possibly you want to stick around.
On a wonderful day at Lake Fairfax Park you can take a hike along the Birch Bluff Trail; in close proximity to Lake Fairfax Park you come across a golf course called Pohick Bay Golf

Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Lake Fairfax Park. Take a side spree to Pohick Creek; there are plenty of folks from Lorton here at Lake Fairfax Park. If you're here at Lake Fairfax Park and you like golf, you can stop at The Ospreys Golf Club Belmont Bay, and George Washington's Grist Mill Historic State Park is a pleasant place to stop by.
You should take a look at Pohick Neck when you're here at Lake Fairfax Park; you can run the rapids of Quantico Creek. When was the last time you went camping for a couple of days? Lake Fairfax Park, Virginia is a pleasant spot for getting out. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Lake Fairfax Park; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Scores of folks camp here in order to be in close proximity to Mason Neck State Park.
A journey to Great Falls Park is worthwhile, and places like Mason Neck State Park are delightful to go to. If time allows, Prince William Forest Park is a national park worth checking out, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Maiden Fair Trail.
