Soar down the rapids of Little Reed Island Creek in a kayak, and Skyland Lakes Golf Club is a golf course nearby. Fox Trail Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among folks in Fancy Gap. If you come
to this campground, you will have a perfect time for sure. Big Reed Island Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and there are delightful spots to look at along the Run Trail.
If you are in Virginia during camping season, you must go camping. The good local
attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. Do visit Greenhill Lake near Fox Trail Campground, it's a pretty lake, and here at Fox Trail Campground you can catch a glimpse of Mitchell Knob.

for a hike along the Fire Trail. A good deal of rainfall falls at Fox Trail Campground; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
