This campground has it all. Go for a hike on the Wilson Creek Trail, and the snow is fine at The Homestead.

There's such a large number of things to do at Douthat State Park including whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, and hiking, so there's absolutely no way to get bored.
| If you come to this campground, you will have a good time for sure. You get a good panorama of Wilson Mountain from Douthat State Park; the Brushy Hollow Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Jackson River; Jefferson National Forest is worth taking a look at.

here at Douthat State Park is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
The personnel who's always there to be of assistance and all the exciting things have a lot of folks coming here. Here at Douthat
State Park you'll perhaps meet some folks from Clifton Forge, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Stony Run Trail.
Float down the rapids of Wilson Creek in a kayak, and a wonderful site close by is Rainbow Gap. Just can't get enough of Douthat State Park. If
you get bored of Douthat State Park, you could also pop by close by Pike Pond; close by you locate the Beards Gap Trail which is a good hiking trail. High temperatures at Douthat State Park during the warm months are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. Throughout
the winter the highs are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Douthat State Park dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights.
So much entertaining stuff to do at Douthat State Park, so little time.
