  Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Old Romney Grade; there's some exciting stuff to catch a glimpse of at Cove Dam in close proximity to Cove Campgrounds. It's impossible to run out of amusing stuff to do close to Cove Campgrounds; spending time at this campground is exceptionally enjoyable. Lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Cove Lake near Cove Campgrounds,
    and Cedar Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby.
While popping by this vicinity in Virginia it's a tremendous idea to go camping for a couple of days too. From a rain point of view Cove Campgrounds is a reasonably common site; the month with most of the rain
is July; the driest month of the year is February. Cove Campgrounds beyond doubt is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. On a good day at Cove Campgrounds you can take a hike along the Bear Wallow Trail, and if you're visiting from High View, you won't be the only one.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area near Cove Campgrounds has to offer. There is a great hiking trail near Cove Campgrounds called the Passage Creek For Trail.
All our national parks are good spots to visit, and Shenandoah National Park is
 
no exception, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cacapon River. There's a lot of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, and fishing, so perhaps you want to stay a bit.
Coming to this campground is always a brilliant idea. Don't forget to take a fine little journey to Laurel Run, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Back Creek - Potomac Tributary. Cove Campgrounds is an old favorite with people in High View. This campground is so charming. If the weather is fine here at Cove Campgrounds, you can go for a hike along the Signal Knob Trail, and Shenandoah River Andy Guest State Park is a great place to stretch your legs a bit.
You might want to pay a visit to Wingfield Gap since you're here at Cove Campgrounds, and when you're here it's always fun to stop by Cacapon State Park. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Cove Campgrounds while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Cove Campgrounds.
While you're here at Cove Campgrounds you can take a hike along the Little Passage Trail, and Sunset Hill is painless to spot from Cove Campgrounds.
