Says Debbie Dean You've been indoors for too long, you have to get out, and Cold Sulphur Camp Ground in Virginia is such a fine place. If you love the outdoors, you won’t     be disappointed; there's swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so it's out of the question to get bored. The delightful pick of local attractions, and all the outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. This campground is so good. Going for a hike along the Seay Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and do stop by Lake Merriweather, it's a picturesque lake. High temperatures at Cold Sulphur Camp Ground during the summer months are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows at Cold Sulphur Camp Ground through the winter mostly dip into the 10's. Cold Sulphur Camp Ground sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July while December is commonly the driest month. At Goshen   Dam next to Cold Sulphur Camp Ground there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Burke Trail. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Cold Sulphur Camp Ground. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Laurel Run. Gotta ski! Famous Virginia generosity and the great large amount of fun activities are a delightful draw for a lot of folks. Knob Mountain is a peak you can make out from Cold Sulphur Camp Ground; since you're here you can take a hike along the Goshen Pass Trail. You're sure to bump into some wonderful folks from Goshen here; Douthat State Park is a pleasant spot to stretch your legs a bit. Take a hike on the Missing Link Trail, and Chambers Hollow is a good place to spend some time. This sector of Virginia has a fine deal of outdoors activities offered. Get soaked paddling on Calfpasture River, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Calfpasture River.
