Creek. This campground is so striking. There's splendid hiking along the Fire Trail, and soar down the rapids of New River in a kayak. For the period of the summer months at Claytor Lake State Park temperatures are regularly in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 50's.
Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Claytor Lake State Park tend to be in the 20's. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Poverty Creek Horse Trail. Virginia is a fine outdoors state. Claytor Lake State Park is a top pick with folks in Dublin.
