A great place like Claytor Lake State Park next to Claytor Lake State Park is too good to leave out, and New River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. Claytor Lake State Park is fantastically popular with the folks in Dublin. As if Claytor Lake State Park wasn't sufficient, you can also go hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of amusing things to do won’t happen.

State Park, just phenomenal. Hiking along the Standing Branch Horse Trail is delightful fun, and popping by Bluestone State Park is a good thing to do. It's very bad for you to spend too much time indoors; you've gotta get out now and then, and Claytor Lake State Park, Virginia
is a good spot for getting out. Some folks stay at this campground when they come to take a look at Claytor Lake State Park.
