Going to Leesylvania State Park close to Burke Lake Park is a good thing to do, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Mary Bird Branch Trail. A spree to Mason Neck State Park when you're here at Burke Lake Park is never a bad idea; going for a hike along the Quantico Falls Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. If the weather is glorious here at Burke Lake Park, you can go for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail, and not far from Burke Lake Park you obtain some pleasant water scenery at Burke Lake Dam. This part of Virginia has a pleasant deal of outdoors activities at your disposal. If you haven’t been to Prince William Forest Park, you must schedule some time for it if you're here, and swing by Opossum Branch it's a delightful location to go to. Burke Lake Park gets a typical amount of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. At Burke Lake Park during the warm months highs are in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Burke Lake Park.
